The only negative things about this fantastic park is an ugly, modern cafeI love priory park...we often take the dog for a walk there...unfortunately the cafe isn't open the same times as the park ..so if we want a coffee or refreshments after walking the dog you cant get any...I have even asked people that work there if they were open..the chairs andPriory park is a large park that is local to me and is a nice walk with the dog, especially in good weather. Can be awkward getting out onto busy dual carriageway over a hill.living locally, and without a garden i try to get to as many parks as possible with my children. the museum is a good place to find out more about this, which is located within the park.This is a truly beautiful and historic park that I loved to go when I lived in Southend in the 70s &80s.
