Showing the Native Americans as victims, as smart people, and as capable of humor is also what makes this film quite unique.Lots of politically incorrect people meet up with a stubborn slave. It's a good western with lots of action and an excellent cast, plus some honest laughs. Good western featuring Burt Lancaster on the whole I found it quite enjoyable.
