This movie left me speechless what a garbage movie A group of UAC Marines respond to a distress call from a top secret scientific base on Phobos, a moon around Mars, only to discover it's been overrun by demons who seek to create Hell on Earth. The main actress wasn't terrible, but as a whole it was cringeworthy. Give this garbage a miss or waste your time. A young woman, while attempting to save her father during a category 5 hurricane, finds herself trapped in a flooding house and must fight for her life against alligators.

I enjoyed recognizing a lot of stuff from the games (weapons, monsters, keycards and the hole base design), but true: If I didn't love the game and felt nostalgic while watching it, I would probably find this movie rather lame. The movie makers, have loosely borrowed a few elements from the game, that's all.

So don't listen to the haters but enjoy it for what it is but don't expect big budget Doom mayhem. The director tried so hard to fill the first 20 mins with as many Easter eggs and nods to the game as possible to try to fool us that this was a Doom movie.
