It will force the opponent to fall in love with the player's Pokémon, and therefore may disobey its Trainer and not attack. And as a bi man in a homosexual relationship, I am eager to see valid LGBTQ+ representation in games. In Super Mystery Dungeon onward, it has a chance of preventing attacks every turn, functioning like it does in the main games.
